I'm sure there's plenty of business out there for everybody. We each just have to find our own niche and use it to our advantage.

I agree. I think there is plenty of clients for all of us, not to worry! If you can find work in a great environment than that alone is priceless.

I had quite a lengthy discussion with the folks at Massage Envy when I was speaking at the AMTA-WA convention this spring (they had a booth there). I was impressed. I spoke to both management and therapists. All the therapists I spoke to were happy to work there too. It is nice to hear from "the other side" after the bad rap they have received from some in our profession. Thanks for sharing your point of view. Personally I think there are plenty enough massage clients out there for eveyone without worrying about the competition. What do others think?

I work at Massage Envy in the Northgate area of WA. I love it! Massage Envy gets a bad rapped, but in this bad economy, it's one of the few places I can stay booked and count on regular income. Plus, it's a great environment.
