For me, massage is one small piece in a bigger and a more fulfilling lifestyle.
I currently work for a Chiropractor in Covington, WA and supplement massage on my own as a sole-proprietor on the side. All-the-while managing to keep a busy home of three children (15, 9 & 3 yr olds) and a marriage of 12+ years in good operating and somewhat sane order.
I am looking for others out there who are willing to share the ups and downs in managing their businesses and families so that we may learn from one another, professionally and personally. After all massage is a personal business.

I do think that balancing it all is one of our biggest challenges as therapists, especially when we run our own business too. That in and of itself has so many aspects that have to be addressed to be successful.
I'm glad you found us here. I'll start a thread in the forum and maybe we can get some ideas of how other therapists manage The Balaning Act.
